Awesomeness Incarnate
Underoath was amazing. Their years of experience and passion for the music has really helped them continue to grow as a must see live performance. I saw them about 10 years ago at the House of Blues San Diego and they were spot on! Ivan was into the performance and the crowd. Nothing but appreciation, love and respect for them. He even had a special heart felt monologue to/about his sister who was at the show (hey, he's "allowed to cry"). The rest of the band jammed and helped carry the show. Andy James is really doing well supporting the band. Of note, he was way better than anticipated.
Dave gave a really great performance. Megadeth sounded amazing and clear. I had never seen them before but the nice thing was how clear the stage was so you could clearly see them performing. Super thankful I had a chance to see them.
The HU was unbelievable. I think they only did about 7 songs but seeing them live was pure talent. Well worth the price of admission alone! I would gladly see them over and over again. They were nailing it the whole time. So much power in their music. Perfect stage performers!
Fire from the Gods (opener). Had never heard their music before but it was an interesting twist on metal. Really difficult to hear/understand AJ (lead vocalist). They played well, were on point with their beats but I would have enjoyed a little more clarity from their set up. I'm going to listen to some of their recordings so I get a better feel.
